Ok mamas....my daughter is currently ONE month old (literally just turned a month yesterday) and she’s up to 6 ounces of formula every 2-3 hours! I feel like this is a lot for technically a newborn baby. She started almost immediately at 4 ounces every 3-4 hours after we brought her home from the hospital and now she’s at 6 ounces. And she gets up frequently during the night despite the amount she’s feeding at this point. So I just want to know from you seasoned moms...how old do you start putting rice in your baby’s bottles? I’ve heard you’re suppose to start at 3-4 months old but at this rate she’ll go through more formula than WIC covers a month. What are your thoughts/what has worked for you?
