Question
What would you do if your mother-in-law likes to talk a lot about her self and turn stories towards herself. I had a recent miscarriage and I’m scared that she’s going to bring it up in front of all of my church friends that I’m not ready to talk about it in public. I feel like if she does bring it up I will embarrass myself and I’ll start to cry because I don’t want anybody else outside of family to know what happened yet. It’s been only two weeks since it happened. What do you think I should do? The only reason I say that is because I want to go to event that my mother-in-law and I will be in the same room for hours and I’m just scared she’s going to bring it up. Or to find a reason to bring up what happened just to talk about it to everybody in that room. Then I will look like a deer in headlights because I don’t want anyone else to know I just outside of family yet.
