Is it possible to get pregnant with HCG in system?

I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks (D&C) on October 4. Period started November 2, which lasted 11 days. I used opk tests and didn’t ovulate until November 23, and took a pregnancy test the same day which showed a faint positive. Is it possible to get pregnant with HCG in your system?

I was told l by my doc that the body won’t ovulate unless hCG levels are below 5. Otherwise your body still is in pregnancy mode.

I’m thinking you may be pregnant again, you shouldn’t have hcg still in your system

I believe you can. Otherwise women in medicated cycles wouldn’t be given trigger shots (which is HCG) to ovulate.

Nope. You wont even ovulate until hcg gets to 0.
