Do i owe and explaination?Am i bogus?

So my bf(now ex) has not texted me all day yesterday ,all I got were a couple of text and then he put my on do not disturb and then at the end of the night he called me to come to his house and I waited for an hour and it turns out he was out getting drunk and idk what else.And I’m just fed up with his shit cause this isn’t the only thing that’s happened.and when I went into his house he had me wait for him for me to find out he had one of his guys over waiting for him to go out and smoke.and lately I’m just been getting so fed up with him always making this relationship one sided and I recently found out what gas lighting is and I think that’s what happening to me.So I’m done and I put my phone on dnd and decide just to cut him off without explanation.We been together for 3 years but there’s been a lot of times I should’ve left and I’m at my breaking point of this relationship and I don’t think I need to give him an explanation on why I’m leaving. I just didn’t say anything I just cut him off am I wrong for that? I don’t want to have to talk to him and tell him cause I know he’ll try to make me feel bad for it
