Should I be concerned?
I’m 21- been TTC for two years on and off with no luck. On my off months I’ve been on hormonal birth control. My husband and I decided two months back to just 100% go for it and I’ve been off of it since August. My periods hurt so bad now- this month especially. My cramps- even off birth control- were always painful for a day but completely manageable and by day 2 I barely noticed I was on my period except for the bleeding.
This month, my cramps are so bad that I’ve had to take pain medicine to sleep through the night, use heating pads, and my lower back feels like someone took my spine and put it through a spin cycle. Day two now and it’s just as bad. I’m really concerned that this is endometriosis beginning. I’ve always suspected I’m estrogen dominant but my doctors (understandably) don’t want to rush any tests because I’m young and we’ve only been TTC on and off so there’s nothing more than 4-5 months at one time.
Does this sound like endo? Or cysts? Or am I just having a bad period and overreacting?
