Parents often withhold things from their children. Now is it bc they don't want them happy? Or is it for protection? I believe we can confidently say protection. I know we don't view ourselves as babies. But does not the Lord see our lives from beginning to end? Does He delight in our sadness? A God who deletes all sadness in heaven wants us so sad on earth? I think not. There's a reason for the season if you are experiencing a delay. You can trust your creator- just as a mom delays her baby from jumping in a pool or touching a stove... she knows they aren't ready for that season, she's not depriving. It doesn't mean the baby will never swim or cook. Trust the Lord ladies and actually be glad Someone has your back!
