Last name change

I follow this chick because she is so crazy

And I laugh at her bull shit

But low key this came at the weirdest time!!!!

My husband wants me to take his last name. I finally confessed to him a couple nights ago that I didn’t want to change my last name.

His last name is brown

my last name is Moneymaker.

I don’t want to change it, I don’t want to hyphenate it. I literally love my last name and I want to keep it. I don’t need his last name to know we are married. We want more kids but are dealing with infertility..... soooooooo

What is the take on taking a mans last name.

Edit: I am not at all bashing women who choose to take their husbands last name! I understand fully that that is tradition.
