Are you having another baby shower? 
My oldest is almost 6 and we honestly thought I would have to go through something like IVF since we have been trying for so long with no sticky pregnancies until now. So as you can imagine we got rid of everything “baby” as he got older. We want to have another baby shower but I’ve seen a lot of people say it is tacky to have a second shower.

I didn’t have a baby shower with my first son but planning to with the baby I’m pregnant with now which is another boy. I had my first in sept 2018 and this one is due in April 2020. Even if I did have one with my first, I still would have one again. Who cares what people think 🤷🏻‍♀️ plus your kids would be 6 years apart so that makes it even a plus for you to have one. Don’t let others ruin it for you!

I have no idea 🤷🏼‍♀️ in my family showers are planned as a surprise so I won’t know until/if it happens. With my first it was a question of when, not if. This time it just depends on whether my family wants to throw one. I know my mom had one for both of her kids. Regardless, I’m planning as if we’re not having one. I’m going to do a registry but not telling anyone. It just makes sense go get the registry completion discount.

My daughter was turning two and I threw out everything or gave it away simply because she was such a shock I couldn’t even imagine more. Well there I was ! Anyway I threw it but I didn’t get nearly the turn out I did for my first. Same thing with multiple of my friends. To me it was pointless I could’ve had brought my baby so much other cute stuff with the money I spent on the baby shower. Anyway we all had our kids close in age 2 or 1 year apart so maybe that’s why people didn’t feel as giving. 7-8 years is a big difference so people will probably be way more excited and giving. I would say it’s not unheard of and you shouldn’t feel wrong at all for throwing one.

I’m not. I just had my first last year and I’m having the same gender this go ‘round on Feb 1st, so that would be a bit greedy of me 😂 
We don’t need much anyway. Just another car seat, another crib and a double stroller.

Go for it girl!  It is not tacky to have another baby shower. Anyone who thinks it is can shut their mouths. Our daughter is 12 and now just pregnant with our 2nd so naturally I have nothing for our baby. I did keep the breast pump though. Hahaha. Good luck and happy baby shower to you!!

I have a 6 year old and I'm due in a couple of weeks. I thought about it but decided against it. I saved most of the larger baby necessities from our first, so it was mainly clothes and diapers that we needed this time around. A friend offered to throw me one like a week or two ago but at this point I'm so late in the pregnancy and so sore and tired that I'm just not feeling it. If you want to, go for it!
