Gender disappointment- did you have a little, a lot, or get what u wanted?

Question

Be real ladies- the vast majority of us probably had a preference for what gender you wanted. Who got what they wanted and who was a little or a lot bummed? I wanted a boy but am getting a girl. I Will of course love her to pieces but a part of me wanted a boy first. And hubby really wanted a son.

All I wanted was a healthy baby. Only priority and I got it. I have 2 boys and 1 girl. I'm having another girl. She's healthy. Scans and tests show me that. I cannot wait til March

I've always wanted both, but especially a girl. So I was kind of hoping for a girl first just to be sure I have one and reduce the stress for next time.  I've also raised five boys as a nanny for ten years and am really sick of trains 😝 I've been looking mostly at girl stuff and always felt it was a girl.  My husband and I both had dreams it's a girl.  Found out yesterday it's a little boy!  I am truly happy still, just disappointed in my lack of mommy intuition 😕

Yes! Got my girl! I had an 16 week elective u/s. And having another u/s Nov 4th for anatomy/gender at my OB. I hear horror stories about them being wrong about the gender lol. But I know it is a girl. I watched the u/s over and over. :)

I find out on Friday, two days from now, what we are having. I have one 2 year old son. If I have a girl, sweet...I will have each. If I have a boy, sweet...he will have a brother. Its a win-win. I literally have no preference.

My first ultrasound they said girl. We desperately want a girl, we have a son and this baby will probably be our last. We hoped and prayed for a girl and were ecstatic. Well, second ultrasound shows that it's most likely a boy. I did my best to hold back the tears.

We are going in for another scan next week to confirm. I feel like I had my daughter taken away. It's rough. I will of course love this lil guy if he is a boy, but right now it hurts...

We found out this past weekend this baby is a girl. We have a two year old son already. My husbands reaction when we found out with him could have been heard for miles. He hardly even smiled this time. It was heart breaking for me, and I wanted him to be as excited as I was. He said he just was stressing about having to buy everything again(this baby is being born the same month as our son so we could hVe re used everything) everyone is entitled to their feelings, dissapointment or joy, just be happy baby is healthy. That's really all that matters!!

I don't have a clean answer to choose, honestly. When I first started trying hard to start a family with adoption, I wanted a girl. I bought pink clothes and thought about how I'd teach her to call for Daddy in a sing-song voice. I can't pick out boy names to save my life, but I had plenty ready for a girl! 
Fast forward two years of failure to adopt a newborn and into fertility treatments. At this point I would take whatever I got. I always knew I'd get pregnant with a boy if I Ever got pregnant. I fixated on this "intuition." I thought about names as best I could, how I would raise him to treat women well and be polite, how I would dress him better than super-casual Daddy who doesn't own (or have a use for) a suit. I made my peace with spending a fortune on food for a teenage boy with the trade-off of not spending a fortune on makeup and a fuller girl's wardrobe. I started to fear having a girl because endometriosis might be hereditary, and teaching her about sex sounded so much more scary.

But we're having a girl. So I'm happy? And scared. Am I disappointed after talking myself out of a girl? I'm blindsided.
