Purple veins on legs and ribs?

I’m only 8 weeks. I first noticed some purple veins on my knees. Then in the changing room, I saw the same purple veins but ALL over my ribs. What causes this? I’ll talk to my doctor at my next appointment in about 2 weeks.

It's called telangiectases, it's normal in pregnancy
