Face moisturizer?!

Help! Living in Indiana with such cold winters has my face so dry! I need face moisturizer recommendations! For oily acne prone skin!

I get acne pretty bad. I use Cosrx blackhead power gel to fight acne, and I use Alba moisturizing gel (kinda expensive- in blue jar) or Alba moisturizing cream (much cheaper- green jar).  Cosrx you can get online or Ulta. Alba can be found at Target! I like Alba products because they’re more natural and I find it very hydrating without the greasy feel or thick feeling.

Try a couple drops of argan oil after you shower, and top it off with The Ordinary moisturizer. So good

I too am in the Midwest, and I use the Acure brand of skincare. Inexpensive, clean ingredients, and you can find it at Target. You can also find it at Whole Foods, but it’s cheaper at Target. 
I use the brilliantly brightening day cream (I use it at night too) and sometimes I follow it up with one of their face oils. Haven’t had any issues with my skin drying out, or breaking out. If anything my skin has been better since using their products (I love their brilliantly brightening face wash and scrub too.)

Start with a good enzyme exfoliator. My favorite is Amorepacific treatment enzyme peel. It’s a powder, but you rub it with water in your hands until it lathers up and gently exfoliates your skin to get rid of the dry skin and prepare it for any other products you use on your skin for moisture. I use my enzyme exfoliator about 2-4 times per week depending on my dryness. Also get yourself a gentle cleanser that’s not too drying. After cleansing I use an essence, then a serum (Tara Harper elixir serum), then a moisturizer on top of that. I also really love Blithe Tundra Chaga pressed serum which acts as a moisturizing serum and doesn’t clog pores. I used to buy it at Sephora, but now I buy it from Walmart.com. Anyway, Tata Harper is my favorite brand right now because they’re super natural, nontoxic, and very effective. Any of the hyaluronic acid moisturizers from Tata Harper are great. For even more moisture you can add an oil after your serum and before your moisturizer. Tata Harper beautifying face oil is wonderful, but you can use a cheaper one that you like, as long as it’s not comedogenic. Elemis superfood facial oil is great, and so is plain grape seed oil. Also make sure you continue drinking enough water and take fish oil tablets.
