My lo is about to be 7 months and has been getting separation anxiety at night. She has been successfully falling asleep on her own for the last 1-2 months and usually sleeps from 8pm-4am before having a night feed. But for the last week, she’s had interrupted sleep, waking up a couple more times a night so upset she’s inconsolable unless picked up and rocked back to sleep. I’m afraid of making this a regular thing she requires to go back to sleep. We had been putting her back to sleep if she did wake by rubbing her back and talking softly to her and sshhh-ing, but it’s not enough lately.
