Four month old likes TV

My four month old loves watching the baby’s first channel. The AAP says no tv under age 2 so I feel like I shouldn’t be letting her watch It. I’ll have it on in the background and she always tries to watch. Is it bad I let her watch? My husband also spends Sunday’s with her bc I work and he lets her watch football with him. Could this be stimulating her too much? I just wonder why there would be a channel like this for infants when the AAP clearly says no TV under 2.
