Rash become discolor neck, why?

My baby had drool rash on her neck that her doctor gave me medicine to go away from rash got much better but still have discolor. Why is it? Will it go away or what? I will see her doctor this week so let’s see what doctor about that skin. Have you experience your baby before? Comment here.

Sometimes a drool rash can cause a fungal infection which can cause skin discoloration or the skin can discolor due to being irritated from the drool rash. Either way usually once the skin has healed itself it will go back to its normal color.

Don’t think the discolour is to do with a drool rash there’s a name for this kind of skin condition I can’t think of it rn tho but a famous model has it
