Baby is almost 9 months and we’ve not been out together as a couple. No one to ask to look after our child etc .... but if I’m honest leaving my child gives me intense anxiety now. I go back to work in 3 months time and I panic at leaving my baby in daycare.

My baby is also very attached to me. I breastfeed day and night. Doesn’t settle without the boob.... I don’t think it would go down well.

Anyway, hubby has asked when are we going to go out. I said my birthday, in 3 months time... I was thinking of asking my Mom to stay a few nights and look after baby for a couple of hours while we’re out.

We live hundreds of miles away from family so no real physical bonding goes on, so our families are unfamiliar.

Do you think my baby would find it too much? Am I just being extremely anxious about it?
