Should I update ex’s parents?

I’ll keep it short. I dated a guy 7years ago and we’ve been in and out of each other’s lives over that time. He has other kids now from a past relationship. I’m due in 6 weeks and he has chosen to not be involved at all.  Should I reach out to our child’s grandparents (his parents) to let them know about their grandsons existence?

I think there’s zero obligation for you to tell them. It’s on him for sure. But that being said, it would be really great if they did want to be involved and your child could have a relationship with them. But, that also depends on what kind of people they are, and if you think having them around could bring any negativity then I wouldn’t.

I know I’m the only one but I would, I’m sure they would appreciate the thought especially if he isn’t telling them

No I wouldn't. Maybe when hes "back in" your life. But hes not apart of it now. So I personally wouldnt go that far

if it was me i would probably tell them. At the end of the day they are the grandparents of your child. their silly sons choices has nothing to do with them.

Well, I do think you have a right to tell them but be prepared to burn bridges with him if you do.

I wouldn’t. That’s up to him. Too much extra drama to deal with this late in the game. Or in general.
