Was your anatomy scan in 3D?

I’m a first time mom and next week I have my first 20 week anatomy scan. Some articles say this scan is 2D or might be 3D. Just wondering how yall’s went? Any random tips I should know before I go? I can’t wait!

We only checked out the 3D images for fun. The measurements were all gathered in 2D.

My doctor makes a 3D ultrasound almost every appointment (every 3-4 weeks). For the anatomy scan he will too, the only difference is he’s bringing a OB specialized in ultrasounds so that we can have his opinion on all the body parts of the baby.

Mine was both. Most of it was in 2d but the tech would switch to 3D when she was scanning around his face to I could get a good look at him.

It all just depends you can always ask if you can have one I normally get one around 20 weeks for a good profile pic
