Have you ever had to take your baby of less than a year old with you or your other child to the ER?

What did you do to make sure they didn't get sick

I have not, luckily. But if I did, I'd keep the baby in a stroller with a blanket over it. And despite not doing screen time until 2, normally, I'd go ahead and put something for him to watch on my phone so he was content being in the stroller and covered. Definitely would not let him walk/crawl around and would try my best not to sit directly by anyone who was coughing/sneezing.

When we had our first, we left the hospital Sunday morning and I had to drive my husband and newborn back to the hospital ER that night cause my husband started vomiting at noon and couldn’t stop or keep anything down and his blood sugar dropped to 56 (which is low, he’s type 1 diabetic). They got him in a room and brought me a softer chair and anything I would need for our baby since they remembered me from that morning (super small catholic hospital that I was the talk of for 2 days since I had our daughter on my birthday) but I mostly kept her in the car seat or in the bassist they brought down for us. I personally wasn’t to worried about it I was more worried about my husband.

The same thing I do when I take him. Wash hands, dont let anyone touch him, keep him from playing on the floor, and avoid coughing /sneezing people as much as possible. Personally wpuldnt take children with me if they dont need to be there. Lots pf sketchy people and germs.
