Where is your baby napping?

Confession- I’ve really been slacking with getting my baby napping in the crib. Partially bc he’s going through a leap and he’s very clingy, but also partly because I love being close to him- I had an awful pregnancy, and I feel like I went through 9 months of hell, I just want to cuddle him now. I do think I need to get him napping in the crib by three months though. What are you all doing so far?

Baby naps in all of the above places mentioned. It just depends on the day/nap. Enjoy all of the baby snuggles. They’re too young for it to matter.. :)

During the day my little one naps on his boppy pillow, sometimes I’ll let him sleep on my chest until I have to get stuff done (I love baby cuddles as much as the next person lol) but at night time he sleeps in the bassinet attached to the pack n play. 
I don’t ever put him in his crib or bassinet during the day because it’s upstairs, I don’t feel comfortable having him up there alone and not be able to keep an eye on him.

Normally in a bouncer right by where I'm sitting. I bounce him to sleep and bounce a little if he wakes to try to get him back to sleep. I did this with my first baby until she was like 4 months and then we had her in the crib for naps and bedtime. I think I'll do that this time too.

It seems like a lot are napping on us. I was worried bc mine has not been sleeping well at night for the last few nights and I was worried it’s because he prefers to sleep on me now...
8 weeks old tomorrow.

I agree just depends... the late afternoon nap is always on my chest... I absolutely love those snuggles and I feel like he sleeps so good

Mine falls right asleep for naps in his crib in the morning/early afternoon (I swaddle him and dim the room as much as possible for naps and night sleep) and then as the day goes on it gets harder for him to settle unless he’s near me. If I’m unsuccessful I’ll wear him or sometimes put him in the swing to make him sleepy. Good thing you can’t spoil a newborn 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mine sleeps on me pretty much al the time. 😣He has terrible reflux. He’s on medication but it’s still bad when he lays flat on his back so he wiggles a lot and wakes himself up. He’s technically 13+5 today but he was almost 7 weeks premature so he’s just over 7 weeks adjusted. I’m terrified that he sleeps so much better on me because I’m so worried I’m not going to be able to get him to sleep by himself. I try but I end up giving in because he’s so restless in his pack and play 😬

Normally falls asleep in my arms while I rock her then I move her into her swing. That is when she does nap, which doesn’t happen every day
