What do I put on my registry??

Morning ladies! I'm a first time momma, due in May.  I'm working on my registry and it is very overwhelming.  I see so many things, but I feel like there are a lot of unnecessary baby items.  What are some things you recommend? Besides the obvious like car seat, crib, diapers, etc... I want to know what items you found absolutely necessary.

Burp rags, zip up baby sleepers, baby lotion and bath soap, crib sheets, socks, and hooded bath towels.

Zipper pjs with mittens and feet built in and/or white socks ( makes pairing after washes easier) 
Bottle Drying rack. We have boon. Helps with bootle, pump and haaka parts.
Room Thermometer that checks temperature and humidity.
Something to swaddle with. Swaddle me, love to dream, swaddle blankets for burrito style etc whatever you want to try to help with Startle reflex.
Baby bath tub/seat for bath. We have angelcare.
Hooded towel for after bath.
Pee pads.makes diaper changes so much easier.
Free and clear Laundry detergent.
Burp clothes, receiving blankets something to use for spit up.
Safe sleep space for baby. 
Aquapor, destin or whatever you will use to help with diaper rash. (We like the amazon brand aquaphor jars)
Nipple pads so you don’t leak through
Nursing bra, pumping bra if you plan to Breast feed.
Haaka or similar to collect milk on other side if you plan to bf. 
Snacks! So hungry while bf!
I think that is what we use the most!

Here’s a list of stuff I loved having when he was born as well as stuff I picked up along the way way:
burp clothes, bibs (not necessary but they work well for spit up), onesies, socks, mittens, sleepers, swaddles, lots of white onesies for underneath outfits, a few different types of pacifiers (I recommend the Wubbanubba or the ones that aren’t filled in the middle between the nipple and outer part), diaper cream, diapers (don’t buy all NB or Size 1), a baby bath, baby hair stuff, baby oil, baby wash clothes, hooded towels, wipes, teething toys/mitts, Baby Tylenol, Vaseline (If it’s a boy and you choose to circumcise), baby toys (my son loves the baby wired ball and rattle), aspirator, clippers, thermometer, breast pump supplies, bottles (definitely have 10 bottles or you will be constantly washing bottles), bottle brush, bottle soap (if you want to use a baby friendly soap), Boon bottle rack, blankets (the ones that are breathable Incase it goes over their head), white noise machine, crib/bassinet sheets, Gripe water for the gas, pack n play, bouncer, baby file if it’s hard to clip nails, baby detergent...
I honestly am just listing stuff we use all the time. If your family wants to buy bigger stuff, put a car seat, baby monitor, high chair, crib, breast pump (check with insurance first) and stroller on there. We really over stocked on diapers and it’s been 3 months and we still haven’t bought diapers. Don’t forget - the best gift is gift cards!

For us a sound machine, blackout blinds, a swing, and the boppy pillow. Sound machine helps block noise from the household while he sleeps and they say the sound mimics the womb, he loves it and still uses it every day and night. Blackouts helped him decipher day and night and continues to help him sleep during the day. The swing turned out to be a life saver because he had reflux. The incline helped keep him comfortable and the constant rock helped him to sleep. He slept in it at night for the 1st 4 months. And the boppy. Whether you breast feed or not you can use the shit out of it! I sat on it after delivery to help with the discomforts of immediate pp. You can breast OR bottle feed with it, you can lay/prop baby in it, tummy time on it, sleep etc. I wore mine out! Everyone is so different and every baby is different but these were our musts!
