Once a year, a 42 day cycle

Hi All,

So I've been tryjng to conceive for a while now and I think my period may be irregular. Normally my cycle ranges from 32 to 38, giving an average of 34 days in between (Glow says 32, but other sites says 34). But one month out of the entire year, a cycle would last for 42 days before my af arrivals, and when she comes it's like the flood gates was pulled open with vengeance. Should I be worried? If so, what kind of convo should I have with my doctor about it?
