Sonographer

I just want to put a disclaimer out there that yes I am a sonographer but I am in no way shape or form a doctor. I am not giving medical advice, diagnosis’s.. solely just my opinions. If you have any real concerns definitely call your Physician, do not just post on here. I absolutely don’t mind taking a look at ultrasounds though, I love to educate/ help people understand what they are looking at! Just wanted to put that out there. Also, I know a lot of ladies know this but once again.. your sonographers are not legally allowed to give information about your test. Unless there is a physician present or going to be talking to you as well we cannot tell you. We are doing a diagnostic test for you to ensure the health or your baby, I know it’s hard to hear but at any normal hospital or diagnostic is facility, it isn’t for fun**. We are concentrating on all of the fine details plus all of the images we need. Yes we know what we are looking at (Obviously) we just aren’t doctors basically. We didn’t order the test, we don’t give results. Just like if you were getting a CT, MRI or XRay. Especially through the ER, our job is to get the diagnostic images for the radiologist so they can get you results for your emergency. We sincerely care about you and your unborn baby, we are never intentionally being quiet or rude.. just focusing!
