Email tattoo artist?

Hello ive emailed my tattoo artist.
I did this as soon as she said her books opened back up, the 1st of December. She hasnt updated anything saying if shes still taking emails or not. 
But i havnt recieved a response of any kind still so should i just wait ? Or should i private message her and ask her about it? Orrrr?

You need to give your artist time to respond. It’s just now the third. If she stays busy for extended periods of time then she could be backed up on emails. I know many friends in the industry that stay booked for months, sometimes years, but they always try to update in some fashion. I would not stress about it or stress your artist out about it, because then she will not want to tattoo you if you’re too pushy. Give her until Friday at least and then email her again. I’m not sure how long she stays booked, but if it’s for extended periods of time, she could be sorting through the influx of emails. Give it a couple more days and be cordial if you don’t hear from her. I hope you do hear back soon, though! I know that can be a pain in the ass when wanting to get tattooed, but be patient. Pardon the filter, I hate taking selfies. The cardinal is for my grandpa (Cubs fan, DEFINITELY NOT for STL), the elephant bc they were my favorite animal growing up.

I dropped the guy I’ve been going to for about 8 years last year and went somewhere else that was recommended to me, after my artist did something kind of similar and kept jerking me around with messages.
