I’m at my wits end. My LO is 17 months (18 months on Dec. 15). She has 0 words. No mama, dada, no....nothing. She makes uh and oh and NA sounds but that’s it. She can communicate when she’s hungry by signing or if you ask what she wants, she’ll run to the fridge and point to what she wants. But most times it’s a nightmare!! If you can’t figure out what she wants and give her the wrong thing, she throws herself on the floor, cries. And then she’ll be comforted and it starts all over because you didn’t get her what she needed initially. I’ve tried everything to get her to talk. We’ve been reading since day 1, I communicate my day with her, ask her questions. I know she understands, she follows simple directions and is very attentive when you talk to her. I just don’t know what to do to get her to use words!!

Also, diaper changes/ changing clothes. It’s like you’re torturing her!! She flails and cry’s and screams. But it’s like we’ve been doing this you’re whole life...

I have a 5.5 year old that was nothing like this!!! I need help!!!
