Any other babies hating foods?

My 6 month old refuses to eat so far. So much different than my first born who took to everything right away.

Mine suddenly got it tonight. We skipped last night’s dinner because he slept through it. He’s been so excited about being at the table with everyone but he hasn’t really been a fan of eating. He likes to gnaw on the teething biscuits but if a bit comes off and is on his tongue he’s like wtf and gags until he throws up a little (he does this when it doesn’t even go near his throat). And purées he just wants to chew on the spoon, he doesn’t even attempt to eat, he lets it sit in his mouth until it comes out with his drool. Until tonight. Tonight he didn’t gag on his biscuit pieces and he actually ate his puréed peas. Hope he can continue with it. My first was also great with food right off the bat so this is weird for me too.

My little girl loves baby food but it makes her so constipated. Pediatrician said to keep her off them for a bit longer.

We’ve just started solids. She’s kinda picky with some veggies of course, at first she wasn’t having anything to do with it lol. She didn’t want to eat at all. The past few days she’s really started to love eating and gets excited when she’s getting put in the high chair and sees me making her food. We’re just trying to find some things that she likes and doesn’t like. She didn’t like peas. I tried them again the next day and she wanted to eat them all. She doesn’t like the texture of oatmeal or certain things so she’ll spit it out.

Mine is almost 7 months and he just really started eating solids. The last few days he’s finished a whole jar of baby food. Today I let him try baby organic yogurt. I’ve bought so many different kinds of baby food it’s unreal, but now I know what he likes! I also give him fresh fruit in his mesh feeder

Same same same!!!! My son (who is now six years old) took off eating at four months old without issue but with this baby she wants nothing to do with food....not pureed, mashed, table....no kind of food. She is seven months old today. I get worried at times and also frustrated because I think it would help her sleep but...🤷

My 6 month old started eating when she turned 6 months and we started with organic oatmeal. She took a few spoons and ever since then we’ve tried avocados, bananas, peas, pears, apples, carrots, sweet potatoes, and Greek yogurt. She’s eaten them all, gets all excited when she gets into her high chair and starts smacking her lips. She wasn’t a big fan of carrots the first time but I tried again after a week and she ate it all. I normally steam and purée her meals, she’s a big fan of mashed avocados and pears. Also loves apples and sweet potatoes, not so much for peas but still eats them. So far, she eats breakfast and dinner but we’re still breastfeeding until she turns two. She also loves yogurt and sometimes I mix some apple sauce with it or pear purée and she loves it.
