How much did you scream during contractions and pushing?

I always thought I’d have a quiet labor because I’m not a screamer, but omg...I screamed the whole time.

I had the most chill birth experience. Had an epi, so no pain at all. I felt the baby coming out, but not the pain so it was a dream come true for me 😂 I was actually watching chip and Joanna between pushes!

I said screaming, but it was more like yelling. I only screamed during the ring of fire because I didnt expect that.

0 noise. I had an epidural and felt nothing. In between pushing I was having normal conversation with my doctor. At one point she said stop pushing and let your contractions push her out. So I sat there talking to them during the whole thing. Mainly about the full head of hair she had coming out .

I only was noisy once I had to push and they had everyone rushing into the room and were telling me to breathe and wait. I didnt yell cause I was focused on my breathing. In my nose out my mouth. On the breath out I would make a howl? Moan? But I wasn’t terribly loud. I think if I would have screamed its not really productive to dealing with the pain. Its like losing control and breathing worked well for the pain as long as a focused on it.

I wasn’t screaming per say more like groaning and moaning a lot. I think I maybe let out a yelp when the baby actually exited haha. For me the pushing was the worst part I pushed for a long time like 1hr 45 mins and I had serious pain in my but and lower back. I think I actually screamed when they were delivering my placenta because a piece broke off so he had his whole arm up there trying to fish it out. But that isn’t a common thing I don’t think.

Mine was more like grunting! Like taking a big poop! 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ but I wasn’t like screaming, or yelling. I had an epidural so that may have helped in that department.

I’m having my third any day now. I really want to work on controlling my vocalizations. Low noises are best but with my first I think I screamed a bit cuz omg its your first...my second was 9lbs and almost born in his sac. So I’m hoping to do better and do low and slow and controlled this time. 🤞🏻

I was actually pretty quiet. I’m not a screamer either. My boyfriend made fun of me afterwards because I’d just breathe heavy and make whimpering noises while clenching the bed rail during contractions lol. A lot of my contractions lasted 3+ minutes too 😳. I think I was too exhausted to scream.

No noise. Maybe a few passive aggressive comments towards people in the room and complaints of being hungry but nothing due to pain.
