So my bf and I have been together for almost 4 years. I always buy him gifts throughout the year. Not only on holidays and his birthday, but just because on random days.

He really doesn’t buy me anything randomly and he acts like he doesn’t want to get me things on holidays either. He has never gotten me anything on Valentine’s Day. Or our anniversary. He has bought me stuff for my birthday and Christmas before which I appreciate so much. My past birthday ( which was a week ago ) he didn’t get me anything.

It just hurts my feelings that he doesn’t want to do anything special for me. I don’t care if it’s not expensive. I’d be happy with flowers or something. And trust me, I know that he has the money. He makes way more than I do.

I just get jealous when I see other women that I work with get gifts from their boyfriends or husbands.

I have talked to my bf about it before but it obviously hasn’t changed.
