Does anyone have partners that watch porn? And how do you feel about them watching porn? Sometimes, I feel unwanted and insecure when he does even though he does it when I am not in the room but I know he has been watching it.

I'd much prefer my boyfriend to watch porn than actually go out and find another girl. I watch porn, also, but we still have regular sex so it's not that bad. It's nothing to get fussed about unless he watches it lots.

My partner told me that he had no reason to watch porn when we were first together. At the beginning of our relationship we had a lot of sex. I have since gone on the pill for my relationship and my sex drive is practically non-existent, and as a result, he is now watching porn. I don't really have a problem with it, it's just that he's hiding it from me. Last night I unlocked our iPad and BOOM! Porn. He even downloaded a different web browser to watch it in. I didn't discuss it with him but I felt really hurt that he didn't just tell me. And the fact that he had gone to such lengths to hide it from me makes me feel sick. It definitely bothers me... Especially because we don't have sex often because he complains that he is "tired" or "his hands are sore from work..." or "I have a headache"... Yet he has enough energy to masturbate & hold his phone to watch porn... sick of it. I mean we go weeks w/o sex... It's definitely is starting to wear down on our relationship... I love him a ton! My partner watched porn a lot when we were in a distance relationship, and it didn't bother me too much because I know guys can be a little unimaginative when maturbating and need the visual stimuli. We moved in together a year later and we had sex practically every day and he stopped watching it, aside from when we would watch it together to find new positions etc. But after three and a half years of being together, we don't have sex as much as we used to. He has a high sex drive, whereas I don't (I suffer from depression and anxiety so my medication kills my libido a bit). In the past I have told him that I don't feel comfortable with him watching porn because it means that he's thinking about being pleasured by another woman and having an orgasm to another woman's sounds and body etc. so it makes me feel insecure. He was totally fine with that and everything was good for a few years.
Until a few weeks ago, I asked him about it and if he still watches it. To which he said he does once in a blue moon.
Even though he said it is only once in a blue moon, I'm still incredibly insecure about it. I hate that he would watch it even if it is only a few times a year. But I think it's unfortunately something that's engrained in boys brains from when they're young. And that habit is hard to break. I absolutely hate the fact that young boys watch porn from when they're 13 because it gives them unrealistic expectations of what women want and like. I mean, I can't be the only person that doesn't particularly love swallowing, yet in almost every porno, the chick gargles and plays with it around in her mouth. It puts so much pressure on women to do things that they're not comfortable with. But, at the same time, I don't mind watching it with him to find sex positions or ideas for us to utilise. I just hate that it's such a "necessity" from such a young age.

I don't really care if someone I'm with watches it. But with my ex it became a serious problem. He was like obsessed with it. He would actually wait until I fell asleep, take MY phone because he cracked his screen, and watch it. The real problem was that he wasn't just watching porn of strangers. He was watching it of my former best friend and looking at her magazine features too. That was a REAL problem for me.
