24 Hour Cardiac Holter Monitor Test?

20 weeks tomorrow and have been experiencing palpitations. Notified my doctor and she said it could be normal, but to keep a log.

So yesterday I kept a log of every time I felt the palpitations as well as what my heart rate was, and have found that when I begin to have them, my rate is in the 40’s or 50’s and then jumps up into the 90’s and 100’s. I’ve also noted that while at rest it randomly jumps up into the 130’s.

Called again today and she has me set for an appointment tomorrow at 10 to have a holter monitor hooked up for a 24 hour test.

Has anyone else had similar symptoms and had testing done? I don’t have a previous history of heart problems, only high blood pressure for which I take Labetalol to control. Baby is still moving around like crazy even as we speak and his heart rate is perfect.
