Backstory is my daughter was diagnosed with low muscle tone. She has “extreme foot pronation” and was just cleared for PT 2 weeks ago which she won’t start until the beginning of the year(I’ve been trying to get her in PT for months, but the company that does it has been so booked).

ANYWAY, it was decided that she also needs smo ankle braces to help correct the problem. We just had her fitting and all of that. But no one will tell me the cost yet. They said they run everything through insurance first. Well I already know that our insurance isn’t going to cover anything.

So my question is, does anyone have experience with these types of braces and their cost?? I just kind of want to prepare myself. I’m also terrified that the cost will be so high that I won’t be able to afford them at all.
