When to introduce food?

Does anyone have a chart or anything where I can see when to introduce baby cereal.. water.. veggies.. all that. My son is 2 months old. Can I start him on food at 4 months?

I was advise to start at 4 months
4 months single veggies, the same 1 for 3 days in a row in case of risk of allergies. Then introuduce fruit potato etc, same for 3 days.
5 months no longer puree food, make it a bit lumpier like mashed. Meals twice a day
6 months introduce dairy meat etc & finger foods, meals 3 times a day
Water to be offered with every meal. My children both had water from birth (as advised by hospital)
My son is 5 months old & can sit unaided, put a spoon to his mouth & takes food out of my hand so i have started giving finger food.

Our pediatrician gave us the go ahead to introduce food at 4 months because he was showing signs of readiness. We introduced oatmeal first, then started with pureed veggies, then fruits.

Here are the recommendations in Germany:
4-6 months, introduce lunch as a single veggie puree , then after a week add potato, then add meat, then fish. Offer meat 2-3 times a week and fish 1-2 times a week. 
5-7 months (a month after starting the above): oatmeal supper or another grain like wholewheat semolina cooked in cow's milk.
6-8 months (a month after starting the above) oatmeal afternoon snack with purees fruits. 
Introduce finger foods at 6 months. 
Offer water in a cup once baby's getting 3 meals a day. 
Breastfeed or formula feed as normal. In the beginning you want to do it about 30-60 mins before you offer solids. Once your baby is eating well you can offer solids first then top up with milk.

0-6 months: breastmilk or formula (nothing else, not even water)
6-12 months: continue breastmilk/formula, plus now you can offer an ounce or two of water with meals, and any food except honey (just be careful of choking hazards)
12+ months: continue breastmilk if you’d like or switch to cow’s milk/milk alternative. Water no longer needs to be limited to a few ounces per day, and honey is fair game. )Still be careful of choking hazards.)
