First round of IVF - thoughts?

Hey ladies,
So I had my first egg retrieval yesterday and I ended up with 15 eggs (pretty good I thought). However, this morning I got my day 1 update that 7 were mature, and only 4 of those fertilized. Does anyone know what the chances are that all 4 will make it to day 6? I really hope I didn't do this all for nothing😔 Any feedback or shared experiences would be great🤞🏼
P.s. I'm 28 years old with a slightly diminished ovarian reserve

I had 15 retrieved, 12 mature and 7 fertilized. 1 made it to day 5 and 2 made it to day 6. After PGS testing I had 2 "normal" embryos. Those 6 days and the wait for the PGS results were the longest days ever. Good luck with everything 🤞

It is extremely individual (body, meds etc). First cycle I had zero fertilize and my second I had 5 blasts frozen. Just have to wait and see. Typically*, 50% of fertilized make it to day 5. Good luck!

I had 10 retrieved.... 8 mature. 4 fertilized. 1 made it to blastocyst on day 5. Another on day 6. Transferred 1 (fresh). Currently 15w1d. I was so depressed I thought that none would make it and that the transfer wouldn’t even work. Don’t lose hope! 4 is still a great number.
