Truck driver pros and cons

My husband was hired through a staffing agency last September. He’s been told that they’re going to fire all the employees that are employed through the staffing agency at the company he works for.

He’s thinking about doing a three week CDL training course here. He won’t be able to work for three weeks, there’s a company where he’d work Tuesday through Saturday 5 AM to 1 PM and the starting salary is 49,000. Do you guys think this is worth it?
