I got the flu shot, never in my life have I had it before.. but my doctor talked me into it.  I don’t regret it.

I’ve had the flu shot now with both my pregnancies. My daughter is two and this is the second year she’s had it as well - I’m 19 weeks now. My husband had strep 2 weeks ago and then a week ago ended up with Flu A (the worst strain this year) and severe bronchitis. My daughter and I didn’t catch anything but I got a runny nose. My OB today was soooo thankful I opted for my shot!

There have been a ton of cases of influenza already this year. I have never had the flu shot before, but I think I will from now on. It seems to be working! I am very surprised!

I’ve never gotten the flu shot and won’t now. I’ve never gotten the flu either. 
Everyone I’m close to gets the shot because they work with kids or with the general population. I’ve been restricted to desk duty. I just make sure my space is clean, I’m getting fresh air, and I wash my hands WAY more often.

There’s a different strain of the flu shot for women. I can’t remember what it’s called but ask your doc. I opted out this year and have just been doing my best to stay on top of any symptoms I have.
