How many times do you use a bath towel before you consider it dirty?

Just curious about this because my husband and I fuss about this often. He uses a towel once and then puts it in the dirty hamper where I will use it about 2-3 times. That’s what my mom always told me to do. If we both k my used a towel once we would t even make it a week before having no more towels and we do t have our own washer and dryer.

Tbh I just use mine until I get too lazy to hang it up and it winds up on the floor...

We both reuse ours BUT we ensure they dry out properly before using it again. We usually hang them so that the towel is not bunched up in anyway so it dries out all the way. Hanging them on a hook or something similar will not allow it to fully dry.

My husband would use the same towel 10 times if I didn’t take it down and wash it when I’m doing other laundry lol Like, I’m not sure if he would ever throw it in the hamper.... and I’m not willing to stand by and find out how long he would go 🤢

Once, I think reusing is gross. But we all are different and my boyfriend likes to reuse his. We are a family of 4 so I'm constantly washing, but I don't mind I feel it's much more hygienic.
