Chamomile for cough?

Has anyone heard of giving their little one chamomile tea for their cough?

where i’m from it’s a common thing!! obviously not a lot (depending on their age) and i’ve found that it also helps to get rid of phlegm and congestion. helps baby get some sleep as well(: what i do is boil some chamomile, strain it with one of my baby’s washcloths, let it cool until it’s as warm as he can drink it, and then give it to him in a bottle.

I wouldn’t think they could drink enough safely to reap the benefits.
The zarbees brand tummy drops have chamomile! Maybe that would help?

My pediatrician recommended this actually. I never did it because idk..I was sketched out 😂 but apparently this has been done for a long time.
