IuI process ?

Can someone please walk me through the entire IUI process? I’m currently on letrozole and they set up an ultrasound for CD10. What happens at the ultrasound? What happens after that? Also, how/when does my husband get involved?

At that ultrasound they will will measure your follicles and take your blood and make a determination on whether or not you're ready to trigger. If you arent then you'll go back CD 12 for another us and bloodwork and you'll keep going back every two days until you are ready. You could also be ready that day.
On the day you're ready to trigger, your dr will give you instructions with what time to trigger and what day and time your iui will be. Your husband needs to provide the sample at the iui appt. Most places give you a cup so he can do it at home and then you bring it with you as long as the ride isnt too far.

Can I also ask is the aim for IUI to have more than 1 follicle? I’m on my 4th round of letrozole 5mg and will probably move to IUI next month. I’ve only been getting 1 follicle per cycle and am hoping for better chances for IUI.
