5 month old with 100.4 fever

My son has not been himself since he woke up at 6:30. Then I noticed he’s starting to get warm so I took his temp and it was 100.4 at 8:07 I gave him Tylenol. He had a cold earlier this week it was his first cold but that went away. His cheeks are flushed and he’s been drooling a lot. Is it possible for him to just be teething?! He hasn’t had any vomiting or diarrhea. I’m nervous because he’s my first baby. What should I do?!
