What do you all think?
So I gave my 2 year old twin boys this lollipop today (picture below) when we were at some Christmas festival thing. The boys were having a meltdown so my mother suggested she buys them a lollipop, at first I thought a lollipop wasn’t a good idea then I saw this one and thought it’s really big so they can’t choke on it and the handle is nice and long for them to hold on too,So I decided to give it to them.
While they were eating it my husband FaceTimed me. I showed him the kids and they were sucking on their lollipops all nice and happy sitting in their stroller. My husband immediately started to scream at me and tell me that I shouldn’t of given them that lollipop because of them possibly choking. He said that a piece of it could brake off and choke them. He made me feel like a unfit mother for giving them the pop. (This is not the first time he’s yelled at me for things I do with the boys)
Anyways what do you all think? Is it ok for them to have a lollipop this big or is he right about the choking part?
I won’t get offended by anybody’s answers I just want to know so I know what to do it the future.
