IF you have a Kitchenaid stand mixer, do you use it and is it worth it?

Ever since I was younger and saw Kitchenaid mixers in kitchens on TV and friends parents houses i really wanted one of my own for my countertop when I was older. I’m thinking of taking the plunge on the $279 stand mixer, but the price makes me hesitant. I already have a hand mixer. Do you use yours often? Is it worth the money?

I've had mine for 10+ years and use it at least once a week. They also come with attachments that are quite useful

I love mine!! I dont even use it for baking much i make mashed potatoes in, shred up chicken or pork for sandwhiches, you can get attachments for it  my friend and i used it to make homemade ravioli there another one for meat grinder and veggie peeler.

I love mine. I dont use it as often as I would like but there are tons of attachments you can get for it that dont have anything to do with baking like meat grinders and noodle makers. My great grandma's kitchenaid mixer still works and it's probably 50 years old

I have one and I absolutely love it and think it is worth it BUT I enjoy baking a lot. If a person didn’t enjoy cooking and baking often I would say it’s not worth it. I think it makes my life so much easier (I was using a hand mixer and/or regular whisk before I got it)

I have one but it was a gift. I use is all the time I love it. I bake and cook a lot though. I want to save up for the pasta attachment for it. I have had it for 2 years now and still use it all the time.

If you don't bake often and already have a hand mixer, I wouldn't. It will just collect dust lol. But if you bake or want to get into baking, definitely. I love mine. And they last foreeeever. Mine is probably 20 years old now and it's still my favorite small appliance.

yes. i bake often so it gives me time to do other things while it mixes. i find it to be great for meringues, especially with the copper bowl add on bc i get to save my arm LOL. it depends on the person though. i kinda use my stand mixer as an assistant while i use my hand mixer for quick mixes. 
i've had mine for a few years, but my godmothers and aunts have had theirs for decades and use them multiple times a week
