Dads cute secret

For awhile I’ve been worried about my dad accepting my engagement. He’s always been incredibly strict with me. (Wanted me to wait until 30-33 to get married) and because he pays for my college I don’t have a lot of room to voice my opinion. About a month ago my “boyfriend” (we have been secretly engaged for awhile but couldn’t afford a ring) asked for my dads blessing and to our surprise he’s over the moon excited! My dad doesn’t think I know, but he’s been making slips on accident. He’s redoing his closet and said “oh... well I’m going to leave some space for a suit and a big gown... I mean that’s if like your mom would want a gown maybe..” 😂😂😂 as my mom is signaling behind me to shut up 😂 it’s just super relieving that he’s excited for this part of my life, and it’s cute to see him stumbling trying to keep it a secret
