White blood cells in semen?

Has anyone else had unexplained white blood cell count in their mans sample? We went from low count to a varicocele surgery, to rising counts but now also rising white blood cells! Doctor can’t figure out why as there is no infection. They’ve checked this twice, 3 months apart. Last count was only 5million sperm, so next cycle I’ll be starting a medicated IUI. But if we get a 5 count again that may be too low to bother.

Dealing with a lot of anger on my part. After 3.5 years I really wanted more answers 😫
