So my period ended exactly 7 days ago, 6 days ago my fiancé and I had a bit of an accident and I ended up taking a morning after pill that night. I felt absolutely fine until yesterday, thought I was coming down with the flu, had a headache, shivers, a bit of a fever and body aches. Then at night the cramps started pretty bad. All day today I have been bleeding pretty heavily and the cramps have gotten worse. I should also mention I have a couple of fibroids. I tend to spot from them and get cramps and dull pain but never have bled this bad. I don’t know wether to go to urgent care? Or if it’s all a late side effect of the pill? My friend who has had a couple of miscarriages thinks it could also be that??
