So to try to sum this up as best as I can, I got pregnant from a guy I was hooking up with that I met on Tinder. We went on 1 date - the night we first met in person - and from there we always just only met up to bang. I ended up pregnant 6 months later and he wanted me to abort. I was already a mother to an 8 year old from a marriage so I was up for the challenge of being a single mom of two kids.

Anyway, he was mean and just not there at all for me during my pregnancy and honestly, I can’t blame him because I know he was scared. And we didn’t have much of a romantic connection so he just was not supportive until he met her when she was 3 weeks old as he fell madly in love with her. And from the time she was about 5 months old until now (11 months old) we’ve spent every weekend together so they can play and bond, and it’s been great. Nothing romantic between us though, but we’ve become friends.

I have never met his family nor has our daughter, but they want to meet for Christmas. I’m REALLY nervous. I know they are going to love our daughter, but I also want them to love me too. I will take any advice I possibly can get and I would love to hear anyone else’s stories regarding meeting your baby daddy’s fam!
