VBAC ?

has anyone had a successful vbac ? I was 20 when i had my son & basically chose a c section. My induction failed at 39 weeks 5 days & i was still at 0 & i was given the option to have a c section or wait. I was very uneducated & the fact that it was offered had me thinking it wasnt a big deal. I was told afterward that i would have had to have a c section anyways because my son was so big. Im not sure how accurate that is. I had a complication but other than that recovered fine. I already know im stupid for choosing one & if i could go back i would just let my body do its thing. I feel ashamed that i dont know what contractions/labor feel like, like im less of a mother..often times i dont want to tell my birth story in fear of being criticized..ive been told i have to have c sections from now on..id love to hear stories about your vbacs !
