So my boy (18 months) has had a cough for a few days now. His voice is getting hoarse. Usually he goes to bed without any issues, but not tonight. Any time I lay him down, he starts crying which is not like him at all. His heart rate is 140 and breathing 48 per minute. I know these numbers are a little high. He is still being playful, but not as active as normal. No fever. I called after hours lines but no call back yet. What would you do?
