I’m going to start potty training my 1 year old (15 months to be exact) pretty soon.

What’s the BEST tips. Like what worked for you and what was some bad advice you heard?? Like someone told me to just let my daughter pee herself after the first couple of times and then she’ll want to go to the bathroom but that just screams uti for me 😬😬 and I think it’s kinda mean to just let my daughter walk around and sit in Piss 😂...

but i thought about just taking a few days and sitting her on the baby toilet to get her used to it before we even started trying. She already follows me to the bathroom. I’m a sahm for right now so I have time to focus on it.

What’s the things that worked best for y’all? (Stickers, going every 30 mins) and how did you know they had to use it? Did you teach them to say potty, pee, something else?
