Recommendations for good leggings on a budget?

I’m struggling to find a good pair under ~$25. I used to buy lots of lularoe leggings but am trying to get away from MLM companies.

So I’m a bit overweight, have thick thighs. I would like to lose ~30lbs but am recovering from an injury so I can’t exercise much right now. My problem with all the cheaper leggings is that you can see through them, or if they look good in the store they’ll thin out after a few washes and end up see through. I can find good athletic ones for cheap(ish) but I want normal leggings too.

I have tried several from Walmart and meijer (another supermarket) and have given up on those. I’ve also tried a few from amazon, none of them were see through but they were so thin that they showed all my cellulite and panty lines super easily. If I size up to try to prevent that, they either look too loose, or the waistband is too loose while the rest fits.

What are your favorites or suggestions? For reference I am 5’2” and 170lbs. I usually wear size L leggings, I don’t know my jean size because all the jeans I buy are S/M/L jeggings. Thank you in advance!
