This may be controversial, but I don’t think my man needs to be going to the bar without me. In my eyes men go to bars to pick up women. We have a bar in a converted garage at our house and if he wants to have a drink with the boys he can go there or drink at their houses. 🤷‍♀️

I trust my boyfriend enough to where if he went out every day I wouldn’t be worried of what he’d do at the bar, but it’s the fact that if someone wanted to go EVERYDAY that would bother me, just because I feel like there is an unspoken issue there. Also an invitation to go with would be nice

My husband lived and worked in the UK for a little while after his sister moved there, and he said that everybody after work went to the bar/pub as a social thing. But I would be annoyed if he NEVER asked me to join in, if I was free to.

I meant to say leave.... as I sit here nursing my baby (who grabs for everything) that I would have never had with my husband (non drinker) if I had never left any of the drunks I used to be with

As long as it isn’t a problem like drunk driving and dui etc. I would either join them or do my own thing. Is he being neglectful or endangering his life. Is he too drunk to go to work or hung over etc. if he’s just having a beer and relaxing and watching a game I get that and would do my own thing. But if he’s a hot mess and screwing up his life or mine then no. I would not tolerate it. If it’s not an issue I would buy him beer and stay home and watch the game. It’s football season. Men need an outlet too. Then he doesn’t have to drive at least. I would keep myself busy. Pamper myself. Spend time with friends and family. Go see a movie or catch up on my dvr or Netflix etc.
