Where is my ring ? What would u do?

Ok so ive been in a serious relationship for 4 years. I love him and I know he loves me but i want more than to be bf and gf. We’re going to be 30. Its not like im rushing him its been 4 years. 2 of which we lived together and still are currently.

My thing is this. He says its cuz he doesnt want to get me “a crappy 7k ring from Kays”. Yeah u read that right. Im like seriously I like that ring and its about the commitment not the ring. I don’t care what it cost i just want that commitment.

Yet...he freaking came in me the other day risking pregnancy but says financially he isnt ready to but a ring. Ok so financially you’re able to raise a whole child but not buy a ring and propose??

My sis says give it to year 5 and bounce if he doesn’t commit. What would you do in my shoes?
